About Us
Congress Community Church
Our worship service is primarily traditional but is blended with some contemporary music. Sermons are rooted in the Word of God and aim toward simple clarity, showing how the Bible is always relevant to our experiences no matter the culture or year. Though we strive to be mindful of time, do not be surprised if the service is a little over an hour, especially on communion Sundays.
Mission Statement
We are Disciples of Jesus Christ committed to proclaiming redemption, life, and freedom through Him to all as we journey together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sermons are rooted in the Word of God and aim towards simple clarity to address how the Bible
is always relevant to our experiences no matter the culture or year. Though we strive to be
mindful of time, do not be surprised if the service is a little over an hour, especially on
communion days.
We serve Communion on a monthly basis and practice an open table. One need not be a member to
receive with us, only to have the desire to flee from sin and unite with Christ for life in
salvation.
Come as you are! We do not have any set dress and most come in casual attire.
Sunday School for school age children and toddlers is provided during service. Children are invited
to leave service during the second hymn and head out to the New Life Center gym to be led by our
wonderful Sunday School teachers to learn about God.
A nursery is available for babies located just outside the sanctuary. Please feel free to take your
little one during the first hymn.
